Rowena Wishom makes a fun, eclectic foray into teaching children eclectic Pagan practices with this simply written and beautifully illustrated book. Starting with the Samhain season and moving into Yule, Wishom talks about grief and death as a child might experience it. She then also talks about the renewal and hope of the holiday season, while weaving in some complicated myths from more than one tradition.

Highly recommended.
