The piles of books and other items have grown too large -- we need help!
We are a volunteer group of Pagans interested in creating valuable feedback and providing honest opinions about items of interest to our community. This includes books, tools, music, and events.
Do you have an ability to write 500 words in a lucid, helpful manner? Can you commit to reviewing an item and sending in your review within a month after receiving the item? Are you interested in reading or experiencing a variety of items and sharing your opinion with others?
We do not pay our reviewers, but they keeps the item reviewed. We are happy to request specific items of interest for a reviewer and are not unwilling to publish critical reviews -- although we avoid 'slamming' as hurtful and unproductive.
A number of authors got their start as a reviewer, it can be a great way to polish your writing skills, increase your library, and widen your knowledge.
If you are interested in applying for such a role with us, please: 1. look at the reviews posted on our website at http://www.facingnorth.net for examples of length and style. 2. read the 'Submission Guidelines' to get an idea of the length and formatting required. 3.. send a sample review -- it can be of an item already reviewed -- so we can get an idea of your style.
Feel free to direct any questions or comments to lisa_at_facingnorth_dot_net (suitably edited, of course) . Your sample should be sent to this address as well.

All reviewers are asked to sign a Contributor's Form, which acknowleges that you are writing in your own words and that we have permission to post your writings exclusively for six months (after that your writings can be published anywhere). if you are interested, drop me a line -- I welcome any questions you have. ~ Lisa
