It's the season for gratitude in so many ways.
Just about two years ago my micro-family finished the process of divesting ourselves of almost everything we own, and moved to a new country. We left the language of our birth for one entirely new to us, and went to a place we had never been to before. We expected adventure, hardship, and difficulties.
What we found was acceptance, assistance, and a place we call home.
So, it is with a deeper sense of gratitude than usual that I thank *you*, my invisible readers, for your support. Without you, we would not be the quiet little success that we call Facing North. We have no advertisers, no financial support, just a bit of gumption.
And you.
