Erynn Rowan Laurie is a prolific author that -- to our communities' shame -- not enough people have heard of. Her Circle of Stones, first published in 1995, is a long-cherished and oft-read favorite of mine (and if you have any interest in Celtic-based magic, why don't you own it?) If you don't know her at all, then you might want to start with her latest book, The Well of Five Streams: Essays in Celtic Pagansim.
This is a collection -- opinions, reviews, information, poetry, interviews, research, and essays -- from almost 30 years of writing. Laurie is a Celtic Reconstructionist and poet and her writing is inspirational in deeply profound ways.
Well of Five Streams is a treasure trove of descriptive texts of divinity and madness, truth and deception, mundane reality and ethereal esoterica.
Highly recommended.
