I truly love and respect when an author stretches their metaphorical wings and gives us a non-101 book. When it's as practical and amusing as The Witch's Home, it's a downright gift.

Wigington has been in and around the witchcraft community since the late 80s and a treasure. That length of hands-on, in the trenches experience shines through on every page. The Witch's Home is meant to give us all a reminder, or training, (depending on your level of experience) in utilizing the natural energies of the place we call home in our magickal practice.

Readers are invited to consider what makes a home and the body of folklore about the magic of home. Sacred space and casting spells, rituals, and blessings the work with the energy of you home to protect it and support are a big part of what Wigington offers. As a bonus, she includes ideas for keeping your sacred space neat, and her unique idea for a household grimoire.

Every aspect of magick in the home is covered: the liminal spaces of entry into the home: doors, windows, chimneys, and pipes. Working magic in a small, or shared space is one of her more valuable discussions. This is a wonderful book for newcomers to magick, but seasoned practitioners will enjoy it too, and may be adding a practice or habit to their usual workings.

Highly recommended.
