Students of Crowley’s work know well that he advocated the keeping of a magical diary. This book offers an example of one such exercise. The private notations of John Saint John share his rituals, meals, exercise and reactions.
Sometimes poetic, sometimes petty to the point of hilarity, this curio demonstrates magical development.
Without reading the original text, it’s difficult to offer comments on changes in this edition. One addition does seem strange: the culinary glossary. It’s hard to imagine a person versed in Enochian lore that does not know of earthly delights like brioche.
