The Witch’s Book of Spellcraft is a great book for anyone looking for an all in one guide to working with magick, candles, crystals, herbs and more. With four authors, the reader gets insight from several teachers at once.
The book is composed of seventeen chapters and includes four appendix, glossary, and additional resources. Some of the subjects include: Magickal Philosophies and Ethics, Preparing Magickal Space, Creative Visualization and the Written word, Spells, Personal Power, Candle, Herb and plant Magick, Stones and Crystals, Essential oils, Satchets, binding, poppets, witch bottles, knot magick, container magick and how to cast your own spells.
The various Appendix include quick reference of Types of Spells & Magickal Correspondences, General Properties of Herbs, Oils Colors, Stones, and Crystals, Master list of spells, and spells by category. Having all of this information alone as a reference guide makes the book worthy of shelf space.
The writing style is set forth in a way that if the reader is new to witchcraft, the subjects are well explained and take them by the hand as they journey thru the book. The authors present the material in an easily understandable way that anyone can follow. For those who are more advanced, it is still full of great resources to brush up and have at the ready.
There is so much information in this book that if the reader only has one book on the subject, this should be it. This comprehensive guide is a treasure trove for those seeking to follow the magickal path and I highly recommend!
