I've been teaching the Craft in one way or another for almost 30 years now and I agree completely with the statement “As the Pagan and Wiccan communities grow, so does the need for teachers, mentors, and role models. . . But practicing the Craft and teaching it are two different things.” In A Teaching Handbook for Wiccans & Pagans: Practical Guidance for Sharing Your Path Thea Sabin does a beautiful job of describing best practices and techniques for teaching magic.

It helps immensely that Ms. Sabin is herself a teacher with a Master's degree in education so the reader starts out in very capable hands. But she took it a step further and interviewed a wide variety of well known Pagan educators about their practices. This small addition adds a deep richness to the book in the form of many ideas for the reader to borrow from.

A Teaching Handbook covers many aspects including online teaching, building an organization, legal issues, dealing with the public, ethics, and group dynamics.

If you think you have heard a call to lead a group, this book MUST be in your library, well-thumbed and notated. Highly recommended.
