I love it when classics are brought back to the attention of the public, and Patricia Telesco's The Herbal Arts is the latest.
More than one hundred plants are comprehensively discussed through their lore, history, culinary ideas, magickal uses, and household and health applications. When you add in the gardening tips and down to earth practicalities of getting started using herbs, this book becomes a treasure.
With clear writing and detailed instructions, The Herbal Arts is a long-treasured favorite I am glad to see once again on my bookshelf.
