I do so love a truly great nonfiction book. And A Psychic’s Handbook: Methods and Advice for Communicating with Spirits by Michelle Welch is lovely in every way possible.
Psychism can be daunting, we often don't know what to look for or are overwhelmed by conflicting information from our physical and spiritual senses. Welch transforms our nervousness into assurance with the skill of a longtime teacher and practitioner.
Her primary point is for each of us to create a training program for developing our psychic abilities (the handbook of the title). Welch recognizes that there is no single way to get to develop our abilities. There are general paths, but we need to work out what works best for each of us.
Her guidance is clear, thorough, and eloquent.
