First off I want to mention how aesthetically pleasing this book is at first glance. The book is a pastel pink and with purple and gold highlights. Inside the book features some purple sections and design that add to this pleasing magical style.

As for the book content, Witch, Please introduces the reader to world of the modern mystic’s guide to a magical path. The book is separated into two main parts. In Part One – Spiritual Basics for Modern Mystics, the author covers Laying Magical Foundations, Calling on Your Friends in Spirit, Magical Tools, Spiritual Practices for a Magical Life, and Making Magic. Part Two – Practical Magic covers Magical Relationships, Your Home as a Sacred Sanctuary, Money Magic, Loving Your Career and Living Your Purpose, and The Next Chapter. The back of the book also includes a handy glossary of magical terms for the reader to reference as well.

One of the things that I really liked about the book was the author explains at the very beginning that the book itself is not magic. The magic is found within the reader. There are a lot of books on magic and spells, but those should be used as guides. The power and magic isn’t hidden inside the paper pages but inside of all of us. The author explains that everyone is able to open and access their own power and create positive change. She says that the best approach to use the book is to take what resonates and leave the rest. The book is just a guide to help the reader forge their own path. So no matter how experienced or if the reader is just starting out, the book has something for everyone!

The book is written I a down to earth style and is easy to follow along. The author provides some of her own experiences and stories along with some teaching moments. The developmental exercises provided explain what to do, how it helps, as well as any items or things to go along. The rituals are great to have on hand to refresh as needed at any time.

I highly recommend adding this book to your magical shelf regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.
