Kava is the name of drink from the South Pacific, known for its stress-reduction properties. It’s a popular drink when friends get together and want to relax. But don’t think this CD is a soothing meditation CD. This is wild and funky music! Plenty of funk and fusion, with bass and synthesizers. You’ll be dancing the night away – no doubt reducing stress.
This CD has a Parental Advisory for Explicit Lyrics on the cover, but I couldn’t tell you which songs contain them, because there are no liner notes. Maybe it doesn’t matter, since I couldn’t pick out the words when I listened, but if this is a concern for you, heed the warning.
