After two albums of songs where Ken Elkinson performs magic improvising with the music of other artists, he’s returned to composing his own.
With his CD, Generations, at number seven on the charts, he didn’t rest on his laurels. This solo artist has the ability to share deep, emotional music that stirs the soul. He’s done this again with his seventh CD, Link, containing over fifty minutes of music with twelve original solo tracks.
Just the titles of the songs will give you an inkling of what to expect, Sunlight Through Trees takes one on a breathless journey, while Awakening has us reaching for something we know is there if we can but find it. However, you needn’t take my word for it. You can listen for yourself to music from Link as well as Ken’s other CDs on his website.
Ken, a busy husband and father, living with his wife and toddler twins in the Los Angeles area, never delivers less than his best for us. He’s currently performing live in that area and promoting all of his CDs internationally as well as working on new projects.
