Darlene Koldenhoven is best known for her singing, as she’s the soprano soloist who sang “Aria” in the PBS TV special “Yanni, Live at the Acropolis”. She’s a GRAMMY® winner and three time GRAMMY® nominee for vocal and multi-instrumental productions.

On this album, Darlene offers her first solo piano collection of nine songs. The music is somewhere between the New Age and neo-classical genres, intended for relaxation and low-key comfort listening. The music was created during the 2020 pandemic, filling a gap in her life created by the lack of live performance opportunities.

The ambience created by this collections is serene and tranquil. An unusual feature of this album is the availability of downloadable sheet music for each song (sold separately). This album is the first of two, and The Grand Piano Spa: Legacy will be released later this year (2021).

The music is suitable for use while reading, dining, falling asleep, yoga, massage and other alternative healing modalities. Track #3: Delphi’s Dream, is particularly lovely.

Darlene lives in Los Angeles, California with her singing rescue dog, Poochini.
